Many of them still thinks that Goa's economy is still depended upon tourism. Tourism contributes approximately 16% to the economy of Goa. Gambling is legal in India only at three places, and one of them is Goa. Government receives Billions of money through Casino as a tax. Every 1 out of 4 Colgate factory is been found in Goa.

In a small state like Tripura, a variety of goods can be manufactured. Do you also share the view that the size of the state influences its manufacturing capabilities? If yes then u r wrong.                                  To manufacture items such as tires, gloves, shoes, and laser technology, the natural rubber required is found here in a quantity of 73,000 tons. The majority of bamboo used, constituting 60%, in the production of incense sticks comes from Tripura. The special sand used for making sand is primarily found in Tripura. The clay used in making ceramic tiles is also sourced from Tripura. After Mumbai and Chennai, Tripura serves as the third-largest internet gateway, providing internet connectivity to the eastern states. Here in Tripura, there are 21 tea processing factories, collectively producing more than 1 crore kilograms of tea each year.

17. Himachal Pradesh:

The iconic Indian choice, Old Monk, was originated here in Kasauli. Himachal Pradesh is the second-largest producer of both apples, which keep us away from the doctor, and almonds, which enhance brain sharpness. Out of the limited two LOREAL factories in India, one is located in the pristine landscapes of Himachal Pradesh. Here in Himachal Pradesh, a remarkable 35% of medicine formulations in Asia are undertaken, earning it the distinguished title of the pharmaceutical hub of the continent. In Kullu, Manali, and Shimla, a staggering 15 million tourists visit annually, bolstering the state economy with a substantial contribution of approximately Rs. 15,800 crore.

18. Mizoram:

What can be manufactured in a small state like Mizoram is a question worth exploring further. With 57% of its land dedicated to bamboo farming, Mizoram boasts an impressive annual production of 2.5 crore tons of bamboo. In 2016, ONGC made a significant discovery of hydrocarbon reserves, which serve as essential raw materials for the production of plastics, fertilizers, and petrochemicals. Mizoram holds the prestigious fourth position in strawberry production. Every year, Mizoram produces an impressive 7,000 tons of fish. Additionally, the state boasts a remarkable production of 70 lakh tons of Anthurium, one of the most beautiful flowers, which is exported to countries like UAE, UK, and Japan.

19. Jharkhand:

Diverse industrial products are manufactured within the framework of Jharkhand, including but not limited to various sectors such as mining, metallurgy, and agriculture. Jamshedpur stands as India's inaugural planned industrial city, conceived and constructed by Jamshetji Tata, where Tata Motors established its initial power plant in Jharkhand in the year 1950. This region hosts over 800 industries engaged in the manufacturing of automobiles, trucks, and related components. The sole Indian company specializing in the manufacture of heavy machinery tools essential for government entities such as railways, defense, and general factories are situated in Jharkhand. Jharkhand is home to approximately 40% of India's mineral resources, including copper, iron, and coal. Adding to its riches in minerals, Jharkhand also boasts a thriving culture of athletic talent. Alongside the legendary MS Dhoni, the state has nurtured 37 more athletes, further enriching its sporting legacy.

20. Maharashtra:

Mercedes, the dream car of many, is exclusively manufactured in Maharashtra, India, with only one factory operating in the region. 45% percent of toys are manufactured in Maharashtra, highlighting the significant role the region plays in the toy industry. 70% of grapes are cultivated in Maharashtra, a statistic contributing to the establishment of 46 wineries, 43 of which are located within the state, underscoring its pivotal position in the wine industry. In Pune, over 4000 companies including Tata, Bajaj, and Mahindra are engaged in manufacturing automobiles and their components, solidifying the city's status as a prominent automotive hub. Forty-four percent of the internet is generated from Mumbai's data center, solidifying its position as the primary hub for internet infrastructure in India.

21. Tamil Nadu:

Tamil Nadu ranks as the second wealthiest state in India, reflecting its economic strength and prosperity. Both BMW and Hyundai operate their sole manufacturing plants exclusively in Tamil Nadu, underscoring the state's significance in the automotive industry. Forty percent of India's car tires are manufactured in Tamil Nadu, largely attributed to the presence of the Madras Rubber Factory, the country's largest tire company. Tamil Nadu hosts the manufacturing of 68% of India's electric vehicles, thus attracting companies like Ola to establish their presence in the region. Sivakasi produces 90% of the fireworks in Tamil Nadu, and Tamil Nadu is also the largest producer of matchsticks. Tata established its first watch company, Titan, in Tamil Nadu.

22. Rajasthan:

If you believe Rajasthan is solely characterized by its desert landscape and limited manufacturing potential, then you are mistaken. The world's largest solar plant is located in Rajasthan, situated within the Thar Desert which has capacity of 2245 MW. Honda exclusively manufactures their cars at the Tapukara facility. Rajasthan is responsible for manufacturing 90% of India's ceramic and marble products. Rajasthan stands as the foremost producer of edible oils, which constitute an integral part of our dietary consumption. Few are aware that Rajasthan harbors a miniature version of Japan, where Japanese corporations have established a significant presence.

23. Telangana:

Hyderabad accounts for 40 per cent of the total Indian bulk drug production and 50 per cent of the bulk drug exports and is considered as the 'Bulk Drug Capital of India'. In value terms, the industry is worth US$ 1.6 billion and exports accounting to over US$ 500 million. The world-renowned Ramoji Film City is situated in Hyderabad. Home to famous attractions like the Char Minar, Golkonda Fort, Chowmahalla Palace and much more, Telangana is a state famous for its bronze castings, minarets and handicrafts.

24. Odisha:

Predominantly, prestigious clothing brands such as H&M and Tommy Hilfiger engage in third-party factory production within Odisha. Factories producing ICT-based products such as Ashirwad Aata, Bingo, and Yippie are situated in Odisha. The second largest aluminum production facility in India is located in the state of Odisha. India's sole defense missile testing center is situated in Odisha. When discussing mineral resources, Odisha boasts abundant riches. India's largest coal reserves are also located in Odisha.

25. Meghalaya:

Meghalaya lacks any discernible industrial presence, prompting speculation regarding the economic activities within the region. There are approximately 325 agricultural and food startups thriving in Meghalaya, capitalizing on its robust production of commodities such as honey, turmeric, oranges, pineapples, and strawberries. These items are prominently exported to the USA, Germany, and the UK. It may come as a surprise that Meghalaya annually generates revenue of ₹400 crore solely from the sale of jackfruit. Isn't that remarkable? It may astonish you to learn that Meghalaya accumulates a revenue of ₹1700 crore annually solely from tourism. The deepest and longest cave in South Asia is located in Meghalaya. Meghalaya boasts a coal reserve of 500 million metric tons, which it exports to Bangladesh.

26. Kerala

India's largest shipyard, Cochin Shipyard, situated in Kerala, serves as a primary hub for the construction and repair of ships. The Indian Navy's inaugural aircraft carrier, INS Vikrant, was constructed in Kerala. It annually produces 6.54 lakh tons of natural rubber, which serves as a crucial raw material for the manufacturing of various rubber-based products. Kerala contributes approximately 58% of the India's production of cardamom, a vital spice widely used in culinary applications. Kerala ranks as India's second-largest producer of coffee. In India, Kerala stands alone as the state with the highest number of 5-star hotels. Even the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) conducts the manufacturing and design of its rockets in Kerala. Kerala, aptly named the "Land of Coconut," derives its name from "kera," meaning coconut, and "alam," meaning land. Additionally, Kerala annually produces 33 lakh coconuts, further solidifying its association with this versatile fruit. 

27. Sikkim:

Let's explore how people earn a livelihood in Sikkim. Out of the limited locations where gambling is legally permitted, Sikkim stands as one of the three authorized regions. The world's sixth-largest and India's foremost watch company, Titan, has established its assembly and manufacturing plant in Sikkim. A renowned Bollywood personality owns a highly acclaimed beer company that enjoys significant popularity within Sikkim. Indeed, it's fascinating! Sikkim has achieved the remarkable distinction of being the world's first location where 100% organic farming is practiced. Glenmark Pharmaceuticals hosts India's second-largest tablet manufacturing facility in Sikkim. West Bengal surprised me; I had no idea that such diverse manufacturing capabilities existed within the state.

West Bengal surprised me; I had no idea that such diverse manufacturing capabilities existed within the state. Companies like Dabur, Britannia, and Boroline had their origins in West Bengal, marking the inception of their operations in the region. The largest railway manufacturing unit in the world is situated in West Bengal. In the province of West Bengal stands an eminent soap manufacturing establishment, boasting a centennial legacy. India's premier hub for hair exports is not in Andhra Pradesh but rather is West Bengal. The beloved Wow Momo brand, a favorite among many, originated in the vibrant city of Kolkata, located in the heart of West Bengal. West Bengal accounts for the export of 50% of the nation's leather production.
